Motel Bond
This motel, formerly known as the popular “Motel Bond”, was built over sixty years ago by Mr. Henry Bond. As well as living locally with his family, he found time to create a very popular bar that has marked many lives.
The two new owners, Jeffrey Samuel-Bond and Steven Bond, are in fact the grandson and son of Mr Henry Bond.
Jeffrey Samuel-Bond, founder and owner of Avolo Plein Air since 2010, is fulfilling a childhood dream by purchasing this family-run motel in winter 2019 to create an ecotourism center in Saint-Georges-de-Malbaie.
Steven Bond, who lived in the Bond Motel in his youth, now resides in the United States. He owns an IT consulting company and is a shareholder in the Nordet project, as well as (happily!) acting as a mentor.
Pssssst!… Nordet is actually synonymous with wind from the northeast, a nice nod to our reality on Pointe St-Pierre!
